St. John’s Retreat House
for Priests
It is with great joy that we can offer a place for Catholic priests and clerics to be refreshed and renewed in the Lord.
St. John’s Retreat House is reserved for the sole use of Catholic Clergy. It is situated down the hill from the Monastery with both a walking path and driveway connecting the two. The Retreat House has seven private rooms, a dining and living room, as well as a private chapel. The chapel and sacristy have everything needed for Private Masses and Eucharistic Adoration.
Lunch and dinner are provided for the priests by the Sisters, unless requested otherwise, and there are lots of breakfast and snack items available. We do our best to accommodate dietary needs/restrictions so it is helpful to know these in advance. Priests are welcome to use an outdoor firepit and some of the walking paths through the Abbey property.
Our priest guests are most welcome to join the community for prayer and Mass. There is a loft above the sacristy in the Abbey Church reserved for their use should they so wish.
