About our eCards

What is an "eCard"?

An eCard is a virtual or digital card that can be sent by email just as you would send a regular greeting card by mail. 

What are the benefits of sending these eCards?

1. Instant delivery by email. Or you can also schedule your card to be sent on a specific day!

2. You can add your own personal message and send it to different recipients at once. You can also decide to be notified when the recipient opens your card!

3. If you like our regular greeting cards, these eCards include many of our original cards. And some of them have music and/or animations.

4. At the same time that you share your good wishes with your friends and family, you are also supporting us with your donations.

How much does it cost to send an eCard?

Animated eCards cost $2 USD, eCards with music cost $1.50 USD and non-animated eCards cost $1 USD (per email recipient).

Payments are made through Credit Card.

Can I send more than one eCard at a time?

Yes! You can even import contacts from a file or paste a list. Furthermore, if the card doesn’t contain already the placeholder [recipients_name], you can add it in your personalized message and each recipient will see their own name in their card. (Note: This only works with non-animated cards)

What are the recipients going to see exactly in their email?

Each recipient will see in their inbox an email sent by you, with the subject Greetings from [YOUR NAME]!” or “Merry Christmas from [YOUR NAME]!” in the case of the Christmas cards. (Note: If the card has a different email subject it will be specified in the description)

If the eCard includes music or animations, the email content will include a link to open the card in a different window. Otherwise, it will show in the email inbox.

How do I know if the recipient opened my ecard?

You’ll receive an email when each recipient opens your ecard if you check the checkbox that reads: “Notify me when my recipient(s) open the ecard”, located above the SEND button. 

Why didn't my recipient get the ecard? Is there any solution?

REASONS

It can happen sometimes, depending on each email address and other factors, that the ecard may go to the spam or the promotions folder, and therefore be missed by the recipient. 

Other times, there could be a typo in the email address and the ecard is never received even though it was sent.

SOLUTIONS

The ecards are sent on your behalf, but not from your email address. Letting your recipients know that you sent them an ecard might be helpful to prevent the emails from getting lost. They can also add the following address to their contacts: [email protected]

Nevertheless, if you fear your ecard wasn’t delivered, please contact us and we’ll be happy to verify there are not typos in the email addresses and resend the ecards for you!

Will the recipient know how much I paid?

No. It won’t be disclosed to any eCard recipient any information regarding your payment.

Do I get a receipt for my payment?

Yes. You’ll get a receipt for your payment in the email you provide.

Do I need to have an account on the website to send eCards?

No account is required.

Can I add my own picture to an eCard?

Yes! You can request additional customizations of our cards. Click here to read more and fill up a request form.

Any recommendations or tips for sending eCards?

It is recommended that you type your name, the name of the recipient and write the personal message before clicking on preview. If you don’t like how the message appears, try adding additional breaks. 

It is convenient to verify the email addresses and make sure there aren’t any typos.
